  1. Lilian Day says:
I lived at 11 Albion street from just before 1960 until we moved to Fazakerley in August 1968. I lived with my parents Leonard William Carmichael and Mary Carmichael and my two brothers Stephen and Paul.
  2. Stephen Kelly says:
i lived in albion street everton
  3. Pete Jones says:
My Nana and Grandad, Rose and Charles Strolin lived at No 57. My dear Mum Marie born there. Many happy memories of Mrs Mason’s shop next door selling Pendleton’s ice cream, and the views from St George’s.
  4. Bianca Colley says:
My dad (born 1956) was 1 of 4 sons to Eugene and Jean Ashley. They moved to Australia late 60s. Sadly my dad passed away in 1998 at the age of 42. He never made it back to his hometown. Last year my family and I got to visit where his home was in Albion St.
  5. Chris Johnson says:
On 25/8/1890 my great-grandmother, Eliza Emma Jagger, aged 18, living at 57 (or 51) Albion Street, married John Frederick Uffleman, aged 28, publican, of 62 Albion Street. She had been born at 17 Havelock Street. However, by the time of the census on 5/4/91 she was back at her parents; house at 12 Kirkdale Vale (although she might just have been staying temporarily. However, a Fred Uffleman of the right age was staying with a Henry Uffleman (about 4 years his senior, so possibly a brother) and the latter's wife & daughter in Walton-on-the Hill. In June 1893 Eliza Emma gave birth to the first of 6 children by my great-grandfather, William Edward Freckleton Bayley at 83 Albert Edward Road; however, I find no trace of a marriage certificate. There is little trace thereafter of the Ufflemans, although John Frederick was recorded as witnessing a marriage on 30/1/96 at St Peter's church. Was there a pub on Albion Street? What happened to my great-grandmother's first marriage?
  6. Thomas. Charles. Fairclough says:
I lived in 44 Albion street
  7. Alan Wahlers says:
23 Albion Street, Everton....home to my great grandparents, my grandfather (Henry Frederick Albert Wahlers) and his brothers and sisters....around 1890s onwards
