My Grandma is centre shot in the white top, black skirt, dark hair, in the 1953 Coronation photo. My Grandad is to the left of her and is the tallest male in the rear, dark hair. Not sure if they were resident at No12 Abbott Street.

Sorry Andy. We only have the digital Coronation image pictured further down the reel. You can copy the file which is reasonable quality. Thanks for your encouragement on our ‘Lost Tribe’ memories project.
  4. Andy White says:
Hi. :-) I think one or both of my grandparents (Joseph and Alice Glew) may be in the Abbot Street coronation image submitted by Ken Rogers. My mum is now 90 and resident in Australia. I was wondering if it's possible to get a higher resolution image if the original is still available somewhere... her eyesight's not great but I'm sure she would be delighted to perhaps see an image of her mum and dad, and see how many folks she recognised! Many thanks for a great project! With warmest regards, Andy White, Dorset
