Sliding down Howe st sitting on a waxed tea tray over those cobblestones when i was 3. Born 1952. My gandparents and aunty /uncle lived there. Forgot to mention playing on the ola, footie and marbles. Having racers up havelock st.

.Howe Street ran down from Netherfield Road North to Great Homer Street. It had the famous John Bagot Hospital at the top and faced William Moult Street at the bottom on the other side of Greaty. Please upload a picture here if you have one or simply leave a street memory.
