An 1890s or early 1900s image of the 'Old Stingo', which stood on the corner of Robsart Street and Netherfield Road. This early photograph shows the ballistrades, which were removed later, probably in the 1940s, for the war effort.

Hi - I'm doing some research and I was wondering if anyone knows of any photos of any King Billy murals/graffiti apart from the one in Hughes's Seaport from Robsart St? Hope this finds everyone well. Best, Tony Crowley (Author of the Liverpool English Dictionary).

In the 1950s up to 47 Orange Lodge Bands would walk from Everton Valley along Netherfield Road on 12 July. Here preparing on Robsart Street are two young 'Sons of the Boyne' - dressed as sailors and holding their little triangles. There is still a couple of Orange Lodge headquarters in Everton, but the band numbers are down - one of the consequences of the mass clearances in the 1960s.
