Willis Square

I am the little girl on the motorcycle, Sheila Burrows as was. I was born at 2 Willis Square and lived there until I was 7. The little boy in the background is digging in the garden of number 2, is my nephew, Stephen. His mum, oldest sister and her family lived there until they were rehoused in Norris Green. My other older sister, Norma remembers lots of the families who lived in Willis Square.

Yes, Willis Square was right next to St Georges Church in Northumberland terrace. I was born in Number 5 Willis Square my Grans house and we lived in 14 Willis Square.
